The Chronicler of parliamentary everyday life

10 years have passed since the first issue of “The Councils of the People” newspaper, the publication of the Supreme Council, was published. Then, clear goals and ambitious goals were set: to maximally honestly, openly and truthfully inform society about the activities of the Supreme Council, work on laws for the benefit of voters.

Journalists of “The Councils of the People” do not become isolated in the departmental information space, they respond to important events and topics of concern to Pridnestrovians from the first to the current issues. The printed organ of the parliament has made a worthy competition to other media for these ten years.

During these ten years a lot of creative youth have passed through the "universities" of the parliamentary newspaper. They hone their skills, gaining invaluable professional experience on its pages.

Today the editorial staff continues the traditions of parliamentary journalism, does everything possible to make the newspaper entertaining and interesting, cognitive and necessary to readers. After all, the voice of parliamentarians should be heard everywhere.

The 10-year history of the publication of the Supreme Council “The Councils of the People” contained 116 newspaper issues. It contains the newest history of the republic, which is written by journalists of the parliamentary newspaper in their daily work.

And there will be more issues, there will be more anniversaries ...
