The Russian humanitarian tranche, from which the Pridnestrovian pensioners receive a supplement to their pensions, has not been received by the republic as of July 22. This statement was made in the course of press conference on the results of the work of the Supreme Council for six months by Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov.
Pridnestrovie is a socially oriented state, so it is especially important that all social payments, including the Russian allowance, are timely and not questionable. Alexander Korshunov expressed confidence that the Russian Federation, despite the sanctions and the economic crisis will find an opportunity and continue the humanitarian project to help Pridnestrovian pensioners.
The project to provide Russian financial humanitarian aid to pensioners of Pridnestrovie has been implemented since January 2008. Supplements, as of December 2019, were received by 146 thousand Pridnestrovian pensioners.
