Deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic adopted in the first non-final reading the draft of the “Equal Opportunities” new state target program for 2025-2027. It was presented by the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The program reflects the main directions in which we will work for the next three years.
It is planned during the implementation of the state target program to install ramps at 43 sites. We are talking primarily about educational institutions of higher and secondary vocational education, as well as medical institutions. It is planned to arrange descents and ascents at the intersections of city streets. There are 18 of them in the draft. However, deputies had questions regarding a number of works presented in the draft state target program. Some of them were voiced by the Chairman of the relevant Committee on Social Policy, Sergei Cheban.
However, the relevant parliamentary Committee made a proposal to adopt the State Program “Equal Opportunities” for 2025-2027 in the first reading despite a number of serious comments. The State Program proposes to more actively involve people with disabilities in the public, social and cultural life of the state in addition to some points of the program that raised questions among deputies, as well as the arrangement of an accessible environment, indeed. The state plans in addition to create conditions to ensure equal access to education, taking into account the special needs and individual capabilities of people with disabilities and to involve people with disabilities in organizing and conducting cultural events.
Work on the “Equal Opportunities” state target program for 2025-2027 will continue. It is planned that work on the document will be completed after the parliamentary recess, in September, so that funds to finance the program will be included in the republican budget for the next year. It is planned to allocate about 7.5 million rubles for it in total over the 3 years of operation of the state program, not only from the republican, but also from local budgets. A little more than 2 million rubles are planned for next year’s events.
