Grigoriopol is 231

The 25th of July marked the 231st anniversary of the founding of Grigoriopol. The events began in the morning with a prayer service in front of the icon of the Mother of God "Three Hands" – the patroness of the city. Then there was a ceremony of laying flowers at the Memorial "Grieving Mother", at the memorial sign of the founding of Grigoriopol and the portrait sculpture of Catherine II. , the Leaders of the town and the region together with the residents and the deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency Number 7 "Central" Oleg Leontiev laid flowers.

Solemn events in Grigoriopol will be held throughout the day. An exhibition-fair "Buy Pridnestrovian!", a festival of masters of arts and crafts, a concert program, sporting events and mass celebrations were organized.
