State-owned enterprises are not unprofitable and began to make profit

The state management company has been operating since 2018. 10 state enterprises operate under its management. This, for example, CJSC Kamenka cannery, CJSC Bendery bakery plant, CJSC Rybnitsa bakery, OJSC Bendery river port, CJSC Odema named after Solovyeva and Tirnistrom OJSC.

According to Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik, the main task of the State Management Company is development of state production assets and organization of effective enterprise management.

Sergey Obolonik cited the Kamenka Canning Factory as an example, which until 2018 was on the verge of bankruptcy, but now makes a profit and has interested the industry investor. This week, final settlement is expected for a controlling stake in Kamenka Cannery: republican budget will receive more than 21 million rubles.

Deputies of the Supreme Council had a lot of questions for Viktor Dobrov and Sergey Obolonik. They asked about the work of the State Management Company with specific enterprises.

Alexander Korshunov emphasized, that mostly deputies were satisfied with the results of the main management company in 2019. Now, most of the enterprises that are supervised by the State Administration for Management, show a positive result from activities. This allows removing from the loss zone. Tax revenues and the wage fund increased, compared with 2017, there were more jobs.
