Deputy of the Supreme Council Petr Pasat became a guest of “The Question of the Day” program on the First Pridnestrovian TV channel. The journalists were interested in the opinion of the parliamentarian on the election of Alexander Korshunov the Chairman of the Supreme Council and whether the life of the republic will change after the change of the head of the legislature.

“Undoubtedly, it depends on personal qualities. I have been working with Alexander Korshunov since 2000. He is a great contractor, an economist. He said in his speech at the plenary meeting that everything depended on the right management decisions. 2017 was the year of stabilization, 2018 is the year of development. I think that 2019 and 2020 will lead to an improvement in the situation in the republic. We first came to an increase of 7% in salaries and pensions this year. Previously, there was no such increase”, Petr Pasat emphasized.

As part of the television program, the topic of cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the Russian Federation was raised. The parliamentarian noted that today the state finds the possibility of exporting Pridnestrovian products to a number of Russian regions.

“This year the President set a task to increase exports to Russia, it is largely being fulfilled,” said the deputy of the Supreme Council, head of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction Petr Pasat.
