The Guests from the Republic of Artsakh

Leaders of the Supreme Council met with the delegation of the Republic of Artsakh, which arrived in Pridnestrovie to participate in the events marking the 30th anniversary of the PMR. The meeting was attended by members of the Presidium of the Pridnestrovian Parliament.

Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh Artur Tovmasyan was awarded the badge of honor "For contribution to the cause of parliamentarism" by the order of the Chairman of the PMR Supreme Council for many years of conscientious work, active social and political activity, a special contribution to the development and strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties and in connection with the celebration of the 30th anniversary since the formation of the PMR.

The Head of the Parliament of the Republic of Artsakh emphasized that over the years of independence, Pridnestrovie has made great strides in the matter of state building and raising the standard of living of citizens. Artsakh has always welcomed the achievements of Pridnestrovie and attach great importance to the relations between the states, which continue to struggle for international recognition.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council acquainted his colleagues with the structure and main functions of the supreme legislative body of the PMR and the urgent tasks of the parliament. Members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council told the guests about the legislative work of the Parliament.
