To provide Pridnestrovians with food products at a level that ensures the food security of the republic and the maximum use of production capacities for export deliveries are the main goals of the state target program of the agro-industrial complex of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources presented a report to the Supreme Council on how the agro-industrial complex development program was implemented last year. The planned activities were completed by 71%, this is an amount of more than 17 million rubles. Almost 14.5 million rubles were spent on subsidizing the volumes of delivery of milk of own production for industrial processing to domestic producers. About 2.6 million rubles were directed to subsidize part of the costs for the purchase of imported breeding heifers of dairy cattle. The program also financed anti-epizootic measures aimed at preventing, detecting and eradicating infectious diseases of farm animals.
THE deputies of the Supreme Council approved in the course of the plenary session on April 26 the report of the Ministry of Agriculture on the implementation of the state program "Development of the agro-industrial complex of the PMR for 2019-2026" for 2022.
