The State Program for the PMR agro-industrial complex development for 2023

2023 was declared by decree of the President the Year of the agro-industrial complex, rural areas and rural tourism In Pridnestrovie. The state held a large number of different events during the year. There are measures of state support for agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) farms, holding holiday fairs, festivals, competitions, and scientific conferences among them. Relevant state target programs continued to operate.

Significant success was achieved in 2023 within the framework of the implementation of the “Development of the agro-industrial complex of the PMR for 2019-2026” state target program. The number of cows has increased. The production sector produced 11.7% more milk than a year earlier during the period from January to December 2023. It was possible to achieve an increase in production volumes due to the high productivity of imported cows of such breeds as Holstein-Friesian and Simmental, as well as due to the culling of low-productive animals.

A new direction has been included in the “Subsidizing part of the costs for the purchase of pedigree dairy cattle on the domestic market” state program since 2023. 1.5 million rubles were allocated for these purposes from the PMR Agriculture Support Fund last year.

Another 17.6 million rubles were allocated to subsidize domestic agricultural organizations, including peasant farms in terms of the volume of milk supplied from their own production for industrial processing.

Anti-epizootic measures were financed last year as part of the state program. We are talking about the prevention, detection and elimination of infectious animal diseases. Almost 300 thousand rubles were spent for these purposes.

The report on the implementation in 2023 of the “Development of the agro-industrial complex in the PMR for 2019-2026” state target program was approved by deputies of the Supreme Council unanimously in the course of the plenary meeting.
