The state program to support tourism in Pridnestrovie continues to develop

The state program for support and development of Pridnestrovian tourism continues to improve and expand. The creation of new Wi-Fi zones is one of the ways to attract foreign tourists and local residents for recreation in Pridnestrovie. The deputies adopted a number of relevant changes to the state program in the course of the plenary online meeting today.

Wi-Fi points will begin to be installed in places where a lot of people always gather. The territory of the Bendery Fortress will be provided with free access to the wireless network in 2021. This is one of the oldest and unique structures in Pridnestrovie and one of the most frequently visited. Various festivals, competitions, just excursions are held here, so Wi-Fi is especially necessary.

Funds for wireless Internet have been included in the republican budget for this year.

Vadim Kravchuk noted that it is really a good idea to equip new Wi-Fi zones, proposed by the PMR Government. If it shows a positive result, then Wi-Fi points will begin to be installed on the territory of all tourist sites in Pridnestrovie.

Visit Pridnestrovie website https://pridnestrovie-tourism.com has been operating since 2019 as part of the state program. The site tells about our republic and about the places that you can visit. To date, the site contains information about 18 tourist routes. This year, they plan to develop new tourist routes. There is also an English version of the site. Such information will be useful to both foreign citizens and local tourists. New road information signs of the main Pridnestrovian tourist attractions and routes will be installed in 2021. Funds for the support and promotion of the site, as well as for the installation of signs are included in the state budget.

All these amendments will improve and modernize the tourism sector on the territory of our republic. The Supreme Council adopted the corresponding changes to the target state program for the support and development of Pridnestrovian tourism for 2019-2026 in the second reading.
