State Support for the PMR Defenders

Participants in hostilities for the protection of Pridnestrovie will not pay a state fee for conducting a technical inspection of a car, a trailer to it and a motor vehicle. The initiative of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was supported by the deputies of the Supreme Council in the first reading.

The profile committee supported the adoption of the law-in-draft. Today, the privilege applies to disabled people, combatants during the Great Patriotic War, disabled people of the Second World War, persons equated to war veterans in 1941-1945, including former concentration camp prisoners, and those who worked during the siege in Leningrad. The state duty for state authorities, local self-government, state and municipal institutions has been canceled, since funding comes from the republican budget.

Deputies will consider the President's initiative at the next plenary session in the second reading. It is possible that the categories of beneficiaries of benefits for the payment of state duty for vehicle inspection will be expanded.
