The State Duma sent an appeal to the Government of the Russian Federation regarding Pridnestrovie

The State Duma of the Russian Federation sent a request to the Government, according to the official website of Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs and Relations with Compatriots. It was he who initiated this request. The proposal was supported by the State Duma on the 16th of December.

The deputies ask to provide the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots and the State Duma Committee on Control with information on the implementation of the proposals contained in the Statement of the State Duma dated June 16, 2021 "On the plans and actions of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine leading to disruption of the settlement of the Pridnestrovian conflict, and measures to support citizens of the Russian Federation and Russian compatriots in Pridnestrovie”, as well as retaliatory measures for the detention and deportation of citizens of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Moldova traveling to Pridnestrovie for political reasons.

Let us remind you that 9 citizens of the Russian Federation who arrived from Moscow were deported from the Chisinau airport on the eve of the day of elections of the PMR President. Russian experts and public figures planned to visit Pridnestrovie as international observers.
