The City under the Protection of the Holy Virgin

Dear residents of Tiraspol!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and personally from me please receive congratulations on the occasion of the 223rd anniversary of the founding of the city of Tiraspol!

This date we meet with pride for our city, for its glorious history is inseparably linked with the name of Alexander Suvorov, on whose special order the city of Tiraspol was founded on the left bank in 1792.

Every year Tiraspol is gaining new traits of a modern city, a person that determines its residents - talented, energetic people seeking to invest in the hometown of a piece of their work, the soul. More and more citizens are involved in the citywide affairs and attached to an active lifestyle, more and more young inhabitants of Tiraspol are trying to use their talents for the good of his native city.

Tiraspol - is the heart of our republic. It is a key element and a reliable point of support in the development of the whole Pridnestrovie as an important center of its business and social life, culture, science and education.

Each of us today by mean of work, attitude to the beloved city, words and actions determine how Tiraspol to be in the present and how it will be for children and grandchildren in the future!

I sincerely wish all residents of Tiraspol health, positive mood, confidence in the future, for the benefit of Tiraspol do more good deeds that will change our capital city for the better. Keep it friendly for guests and comfortable for the people living here!
