The main participants of passed the Parliament round table devoted to discussion of the provisions of the law-in-draft "On additional measures to stabilize the economy of PMR" were steel production workers, representatives of various sectors of the economy - the director of JSC "Floare" Boris Chiciuc, CFO CCI "Intertsentr Lux" Lyudmila Primochenko, director of the SU-28 Yuri Glemba, executive director of Union of Industrialists and Agrarians of Pridnestrovie Vladimir Berkovich, executive director of the Association of Road Transport Workers and employees Michael Kroytman, as well as representatives of other organizations, small and medium-sized businesses, trade unions.
The head of the leading construction companies of the republic Yuri Glemba drew attention of the meeting to the public and private sector issues. First of all they are caused by low purchasing power of citizens of the republic, the high cost to commission square meters of housing. According to him, for the industry to function, we need to attract the maximum number of private investment as builders do not expect state support. He also proposed to reduce the tax on income of organizations of the construction sector from 8.2% to 0%.
Light industry is one of the leading sectors of our economy, and employs a large number of workers. That is why the topic of taxation of economic agents working on tolling scheme has been repeatedly raised during the round table. Their representatives have noted a constant growth rate for the taxation - in a few years it has grown from 1.1 to 2. In this regard, industry representatives were asked to return to the old rate - 1.7.
Executive director of the Union of Industrialists and Agrarians of Pridnestrovie Vladimir Berkovich called for legislative consolidation to work mutually different branches of government in the process of anti-crisis measures developing. He assured lawmakers that the association of industrialists, farmers and entrepreneurs prepared their amendments to the law-in-draft that will be submitted to the relevant committee of the Supreme Council.
