The main political event for Russians

Today the main political event for Russians is the election of the President of the Russian Federation. About 400 polling stations were opened outside the territory of Russia, 24 of them in our republic.

Since the morning, polling station No. 8205, located in the Palace of the Republic, is crowded. All those who came to vote were greeted solemnly, with the accompaniment of the orchestra of the General Staff of the PMR Defense Ministry under the leadership of Vitaly Voinov.

Representatives of different ages and professions came to vote for the Russian president. Participation in the Russian elections for Pridnestrovians is an opportunity not only in words but in deeds to say "thank you" to the great Russia.

The first persons of the republic voted at the same polling station. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky admitted that the present day is special for the Pridnestrovians, the mood is festive for everyone.

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba made his choice at the Palace of the Republic. Earlier he visited a polling station in Slobodzeia. There, according to the speaker, as in the capital, people vote actively. The whole families come.

In general, the elections in this polling station are calm and without any violations. Pridnestrovians will be able to give their votes for the Russian president until 20.00.
