The main tasks set by the President

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky in his message set tasks in the course of expanded meeting for all state authorities and administration for 2021. There were three main issues included to the agenda: the Message of the PMR President to the state authorities on the tasks and goals for 2021, the results of the Year of Health in the PMR and the Plan for holding the Year of Youth in the PMR.

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky in his message emphasized that 2020 has made significant adjustments to the work of the President, the Supreme Council, the Government and the whole of Pridnestrovie. This was due to a number of factors. The first is the coronavirus pandemic.

The second factor is foreign policy. There was an electoral year in Moldova, elections for the Supreme Council of the PMR were held. The third factor that significantly influenced the life of Pridnestrovie, according to the President, is drought. Our agricultural producers suffered, and the economy as a whole suffered.

According to the President, no matter how difficult it was, the republic was moving forward. The capital investment fund was implemented almost in full, new system of state power and management bodies was being built. We managed to implement almost everything that was said at the beginning of 2020.

As Vadim Krasnoselsky noted, the state authorities will continue to implement the Development Strategy of Pridnestrovie, the main principles of which are political stability, economic self-sufficiency and social justice.

The President outlined the guidelines for the work of the PMR Supreme Council for 2021:

- to develop, together with the Government, a mechanism for increasing wages of public sector employees in 2021, paying special attention to primary care medical personnel;

- to develop, together with the Government, a mechanism for a phased increase in labor pensions in 2021, as well as develop a legislative mechanism for one-time payments to non-working pensioners;

- to provide in 2021 a gradual increase in the period for payment of the monthly childcare allowance;

- to develop together with the Government a mechanism and adopt the Budget Code of Pridnestrovie;

- jointly with the Government to work on the 2022 budget in a timely manner;

- to carry out legislative improvement of the procurement procedure within the framework of the law "On procurement in the PMR" in order to ensure openness, transparency and efficiency of procurement procedures. As well as the efficient use of state budget funds and extra-budgetary funding sources;

- to continue the state program to provide living quarters for orphans and children left without parental care;

- to continue the implementation of the allocation of funds allocated for the payment of guaranteed restored savings of citizens;

- to increase the volume of financing aimed at development of the road industry according to the situation that will develop in the economy;

- to create a state program for formation of the Land Cadastre.

In total, the Message of the PMR President covered more than two dozen areas. They can be conditionally divided into thematic blocks - political stability, economic self-sufficiency, social justice, regional policy. Vadim Krasnoselsky in the final part of his message noted that the Development Strategy of Pridnestrovie should be a reference book for every official and the main guideline of activity.
