Main events of May

The May issue of the Councils of the People parliamentary newspaper was published. You can subscribe for the second half of the year at the Post of Pridnestrovie.

The newspaper reflects the main events from parliamentary life. Pridnestrovian delegation led by Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov held a number of meetings in Moscow in May. The issues of obtaining Russian citizenship, the work of the consular point in Tiraspol were raised, humanitarian projects and other issues were discussed.

Members of the Consultative Assembly heard the report of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev on the state of international relations of Pridnestrovie and on the course of the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova.

Deputies congratulated the veterans on the Great Victory Day in their constituencies. Improvement work continues. The Oktyabrsky microdistrict in Tiraspol has been transformed. Repairs were carried out and windows in the entrances were replaced.
