The main results of the projects of the state program to support and develop entrepreneurship

The state target program to support and develop entrepreneurship was launched in 2019. The main results of its implementation for 4 years were presented to the Supreme Council by the Government. The state target program funded 2 projects: "Buy Pridnestrovian!" and "The Business School Operation ". The effectiveness of the state program was discussed by the deputies of the Supreme Council in the course of the plenary session.

According to the project "Buy Pridnestrovian!" exhibitions, fairs and festivals were held in the cities, where domestic goods were advertised. 12 exhibition-fairs and 3 thematic festivals were organized in 2019 and 2021. Each event was attended by 2 to 3 thousand people. 150 enterprises presented their products in 2019, AND 182 enterprises in 2021. Counters were allocated in stores for Pridnestrovian goods, and the symbols of the project were placed on the products. The project "Buy Pridnestrovian!" was not carried out in 2020 due to quarantine and in 2022 due to the external situation.

Consumer interest and demand for locally produced products has increased over the past few years, government spokesman said. Most of the producers have kept their jobs. 30% of surveyed economic agents expanded their staff.

1820 people have been trained during 4 years of the State Target Program on the project "Functioning of a business school". Of these, 201 aspiring entrepreneurs attended courses on the basics of creating their own business. More than 70% of students have created their own business or are in the process of starting their own business. 1619 managers of business structures completed training at the business school at the expense of the state and improved their qualifications.

Initially, funding was expected in the amount of about 4.5 million rubles. However, not all activities were fully funded and implemented for objective reasons. In fact, 3 million 176 thousand rubles were financed that is about 70% of the plan from 2019 to 2022. More than 1 million 422 thousand rubles were spent for the implementation of the project "Buy Pridnestrovian!" and more that 1753000 rubles for the Business School Functioning project.

It was noted at the plenary session that the state target program to support and develop entrepreneurship is important for the state. The projects that have been operating for several years as well as the My Business project, which is new for start-up entrepreneurs, will be implemented as part of the new adopted state program “Support and Development of Entrepreneurship in the PMR”, designed for 2023-2027.
