The Head of Bendery summed up the year results

07.02.2023

The Head of the state administration of the city of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko presented a report on the work for the past year to the President and parliamentarians from the city in the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. He talked about what had been done and what was yet to be done. He answered questions then. The interests of residents of Bendery in the Supreme Council are represented by six parliamentarians.

As for the topical issues raised by parliamentarians, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov, who is a Deputy from the constituency number 1 "Solnechny", asked about the fate of an abandoned object in his constituency. A foundation pit with a partial foundation for several years not only spoiled the appearance of the microdistrict, but also flashed in militia reports – fights, petty hooliganism, fires were often recorded, there were also cases of attacks on people by street dogs settled in an unfinished building.

The Head of the state administration of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko noted that work on this site in the city had been going on for about two years. The city authorities do not have the right to make decisions even in relation to unscrupulous land owners under the current legislation. A notice was received 10 days ago from the Registration Chamber in Bendery about the cancellation of the decision to allocate this site to a limited liability company. Taking into consideration that the foundations of the abandoned buildings are partially completed, the city authorities are considering two options: to transfer to a bona fide contractor for the construction of a residential building or commercial facility, or to equip a recreation area there. The Head of the state administration invited the deputies to make a joint final decision on this facility.

The deputy of constituency number 1 "Solnechny" Alexander Korshunov raised the issue of ensuring security in the parks and squares being equipped. The topic of financing repairs on the roads, which are actively used by exporting cargo carriers, was also discussed. The meeting participants noted that the load on the roads in the direction of Moldova has increased markedly. 90% of the cargo traffic has passed through Bendery over the past year. It was about the so-called transit triangle. These sections require investments commensurate with the costs of other city roads with a length of only 23 kilometers (10% of the total length of Bendery roads). The President gave a number of instructions related to the re-qualification of these roads as republican ones, as well as to limiting the tonnage of trucks and revising the conditions for using these roads. 13 million rubles were allocated to Bendery for the repair of the roadway in 2023. First of all, repairs will begin along Panin Street.

Deputy from constituency number 3 "Borisovsky" Oleg Petrik expressed his gratitude to the state administration of the city of Bendery for constructive interaction. He raised the issue of restoring the work of a rural outpatient clinic in the village of Protyagailovka.

The parliamentarian proposed as an option to use for the work of the outpatient clinic, whose building is now in disrepair, kindergarten number 3, it is located nearby. Half of the kindergarten groups do not work, the active ones have a separate entrance. The President instructed to deal with this issue and in the near future to organize medical assistance to the local population in the interim period.

Organization of second-hand goods trade is among the issues raised in the course of the meeting, the importance of social advertising, the removal of small and medium-sized businesses from the shadows, the development of Bendery as a tourist center.

The President recognized the activities of the Bendery state administration as satisfactory, aiming at its continuation in close cooperation with the deputies of the Supreme and local councils and the public.
