Then he served in the Red Army, took part in the fight against Baron Ungern, known as one of the most brutal white commanders of the Russian Civil War. Fyodor Andreev lived in the Sverdlovsk region in the post-war period. 1933 was a lean year. Hunger began. Fyodor Alekseevich, who worked as an accountant on a collective farm, was charged and sentenced to three years. He worked in the Dmitrovsky forced labor camp, created for the construction of the canal.

Fyodor Andreev was expected by a spouse and five children. Boris German keeps in his family archives a letter from his grandfather from the front, who asks adult daughters to take care of their mother and help their younger brothers get an education.

The Supreme Council Deputy keeps the memory of the second grandfather Mikhail Semenovich German who also fought in the First World War. he was under occupation in Dubossary during the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the St. George's Cross for the fact that he neutralized the machine gunner. The deputy of the Supreme Council demonstrated this award of his grandfather to the participants of the action "St. George's Ribbon" on the eve of May 9. To hold such events means to remind at what price the Soviet people had to pay for the victory, says Boris German.

Boris German annually becomes a participant in the Immortal Regiment campaign. The procession does not pass through the central square of Tiraspol for the second year due to the pandemic. The purpose of the mass event remains the same - to preserve the memory of the feat of our ancestors during the Great Patriotic War.
