Law-in-draft, which will enable employees of geodetic municipal unitary enterprises and state unitary enterprises to work under a simplified taxation system, was considered by the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the course of the plenary meeting in the second final reading.
The legislative initiative to amend the law “Special tax regime - simplified taxation system” was prepared by the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in order to enable state (municipal) unitary enterprises that carry out geodetic and cartographic activities to switch to a simplified taxation system and, as a result, increase competitiveness in the services market. It will allow partially resolving the issue of reducing the cost of geodesy work at least. there are 16 organizations operating in Pridnestrovie currently that are engaged in geodetic and cartographic activities. Only 2 of these, are municipal and 3 are state, the rest are private.
Parliamentarians agreed with the initiative and adopted it in the second final reading in the course of the plenary meeting. Employees of state and municipal organizations will be able to switch to a simplified taxation system from January 1, 2025.
Information hour was held at the end of the plenary session, during which deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic heard information about the organization of the provision of state and municipal services in the field of geodesy and about state regulation of tariffs in this area since deputies have repeatedly received appeals from voters with complaints about the prohibitive cost of geodetic and cartographic services.
