Galina Antyufeeva met with young experts

The state actively supported the youth in 2021, which was declared the Year of Youth in Pridnestrovie. This is the opinion of the members of the Expert Youth Council. Activists spoke about this today in the course of the meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva. Particular attention was paid to presidential grants, which made it possible to implement many different youth initiatives. There are problems in the interaction between the state and youth. The most important of them is the lack of platforms for interaction and exchange of experience between activists, volunteers and representatives of youth organizations. The Russian Federation was cited as an example, where a large number of various youth forums are held every year, for example, Student Spring, Eurasia Global. Pridnestrovians participated in it and shared impressions today. It is possible to learn more about projects implemented by activists and volunteers in other countries at such forums. This inspired young experts to hold similar events already in Pridnestrovie. The Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council supported the aspirations of young experts and promised to assist in holding the Pridnestrovian youth forum in the future.

Another question concerned the role of women in politics. The activists were interested in how the women's view of politics differs from the men's, and whether the state needs more women in leadership positions. The vice-speaker of the parliament noted that women sometimes see the problem much more clearly, and often feel people better.

Young experts were interested in the work of the Supreme Council, in particular, the activities of the Commission on Foreign Policy and International Relations, headed by Galina Antyufeeva.

Active young experts can hear, see and understand how state authorities work in the course of such meetings as today. The state learns from the youth itself how they live and what the new generation of Pridnestrovians dreams about.

Students and graduates of the Pridnestrovian State University are among the members of the Council: political scientists, sociologists, lawyers, psychologists. This is not the first time they have held meetings with government officials. They met with the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov in November last year. The young people have plans for new meetings and new experiences.
