Galina Antyufeeva: pupils of Suvorov Military School is a worthy change of grandfathers and fathers

Last year, on the eve of the 27th anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, at the initiative of President Vadim Krasnoselsky in Tiraspol, the Suvorov Military School was solemnly opened. For an incomplete year it has turned into a full-fledged educational institution, which has its own specifics. Training in it is about two hundred people, there are even from neighboring states. In the future academic year, the school is ready to accept in two fifths classes another 44 pupils. There is a board of trustees of the school, which is headed by the first president of the PMR, Igor Smirnov.

Today, the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School was visited by the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Law Enforcement, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms Galina Antyufeeva.

The visit to the future military elite of the country was held with the support of the Russian Embassy in Moldova, the Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie. As a gift from the Supreme Council, Suvorov school was given stationery, which will be useful in the everyday educational process.

Galina Antyufeeva together with the head of the school Major Alexander Alexandrov familiarized with the educational institution, visited the shooting range, where the future military are trained to shoot a small-caliber rifle and pistol, an assembly hall where cultural events, parental meetings and ballroom dances are held by the staff choreographer. The main exhibit of the forming museum of the school is the uniform of Lieutenant-General Alexander Lebed, which was donated by Russian military. Vice Speaker promised to think about what kind of exhibits legislators can replenish the museum of the school.

Undoubtedly, its material base still needs replenishment - it requires interactive whiteboards, computers, educational and methodical literature for the library fund. Currently, construction work is being carried out in another five-storey building, on three floors of which it is planned to place sleeping rooms. The President visited the school the same day, a little earlier, set the task: to hand over a new building to the beginning of the school year and the first anniversary of the Suvorov school.

In the course of the meeting with the vice-speaker, the head of the school told that on the eve of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory the pupils of Suvorov Military School marched along the victorious route, which in April 1944 were the troops of the 37th Army of the 3rd Ukrainian Front, liberating the Kitskan bridgehead from the German -Romanian invaders.

Finally, the main point of the program of visiting the Suvorov school is the dining room, where the students have already gathered at tables with sweet treats. To the question of Galina Mikhailovna, are they all happy, sounded loud and military-capacious "So sure!" The vice-speaker promised to visit the Suvorovs more than once, provided that they will study well. In conclusion, Galina Antyufeeva wished the students success in their studies and mastering military skills.
