Galina Antyufeyeva hosted a reception of citizens in Dubossary

The citizens’ reception on personal matters was conducted in Dubossary by the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva. After the meeting with the candidates for the State Duma deputies, the Dubossary residents again had questions. The Vice-Speaker listened to the requests of everyone who applied. Among those who came was Vladimir Kucher, invalid of war in Afghanistan. He came to Afghanistan in 1983 as an 18-year-old boy. He served 2 years, received two wounds, came invalid from the war. Now he has the first group of disabilities. He has Russian citizenship, but receives a Pridnestrovian pension. Due to zero length of service and registration in the PMR, the Russian pension would be charged a small one. Vladimir Vasilievich is grateful for the benefits provided by the state, but he would like to improve the financial situation. More than a third of the pension is spent on expensive medicines. Vladimir Kucher came to the reception with the vice-speaker together with the chairman of the Dubossary society of disabled people from local wars and armed conflicts Georgy Bragutsa. They raised the topic of pension provision for this category of people, as Russian citizens living in Pridnestrovie.

The Chairman of the Dubossary Society of Disabled Persons of Local Wars and Armed Conflicts noted that in our republic a similar issue was resolved at the level of the relevant ministry, Government and the Supreme Council - a change was made to the PMR legislation regarding the availability of work experience for disabled veterans, and today the maximum coefficient for this category.

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeyeva assured those who applied to her at the reception that Russian legislation on this issue would be studied and assistance in solving it would be provided.

Appeals from residents of Dubossary also concern obtaining Russian citizenship, applying for a pension in the Russian Federation, improving the work of the consular department.

Dubossary residents raised the issues of roof repair, improvement of living conditions and other everyday problems.
