Galina Antyufeeva, "Our country is in good hands"

The tradition to demonstrate the combat power of the republic on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day lasts many years. This year the Ministry of Defense Army military Special Forces, special motorized units of the Interior Ministry, border detachment of the Ministry of State Security, as well as the OGRF division took part in the competition. The stands of the stadium of the city were filled with viewers. There was the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, the President Vadim Krasnoselsky, the first Pridnestrovian President Igor Smirnov, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva, deputies Igor Buga, Oleg Belyakov, heads of ministries and departments among the honored guests of the festival. All the spectators expected a bright and exciting entertainment. The expectations were justified. The soldiers showed perfect possession of weapons, unarmed combat techniques, throwing grenades, special operations skills. The program of the competition included a tug of war, relay paramilitary and execution of military-patriotic songs.

Military honor guard demonstrated perfection movements and coherent skills. The young cadets – the Republican cadet boarding school named after F. Dzerzhinsky pupils were participating in the celebration.

The President congratulated the servicemen on the upcoming holiday. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the contribution of each power unit in the security of the republic.

Soldiers of the army special forces Ministry of Defense became military-sports festival winner as a result of several stages of the competition. They were presented with the cup and the diploma of the President of PMR.
