Galina Antyufeyeva, “You can be calm that the food security of the state is ensured”

Agricultural workers were congratulated in Tiraspol. The solemn event dedicated to the upcoming Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers took place at the Palace of the Republic. The celebration guests were the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva, the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Agricultural Issues Oleg Leontyev and other parliamentarians. Deputy Sergei Pisarenko was among the agricultural producers. Guests of the festival at the entrance got acquainted with the exhibition of products of Pridnestrovian manufacturers. These are bakery and confectionery products, vegetables and fruits, dairy and meat products – everything that is grown on the soil of Pridnestrovie, the press service of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic noted in telegram channel.

State policy has been aimed at developing and supporting agriculture, various industries and areas of the agro-industrial complex over the past few years. In particular, state support for agricultural producers is regulated by law (subsidies for milk, for the purchase of heifers, for planting gardens, purchasing agricultural equipment), restoration of the reclamation system (over 5 years, irrigated areas in the republic have increased to 30 thousand hectares, the goal is 60 thousand hectares), development of agritourism. The Fund for the Execution of Voters' Orders helps deputies improve villages and towns. Agricultural producers and farmers exhibit their achievements and the fruits of their labor at fairs and festivals, which are regularly held in the cities of the republic.

Distinguished representatives of the agricultural industry from all over the republic were presented with state awards during the ceremonial meeting. Agronomists, tractor drivers, grain dryers, electricians, machine operators, sorters, and workers in fruit and vegetable shops received orders, medals and certificates from the hands of the head of the Government Alexander Rosenberg and the Vice-Speaker of Parliament Galina Antyufeyeva.
