Galina Antyufeeva, "Peacekeepers are people who stopped the war"

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva, parliamentarians Oleg Belyakov and Andrei Safonov took part in the ceremony of awarding peacekeepers with state awards. It was timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the beginning of the peacekeeping operation in Pridnestrovie.

In the honorary ranks of the small hall of the Palace of the Republic, Those we owe our lives, peace and tranquility are servicemen of the peacekeeping forces, as well as those who in one way or another were involved in the peacekeeping operation for all 25 years of its functioning.

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky opened the solemn ceremony of presenting state awards to the peacekeepers - the anniversary medal "25 years of the peacekeeping operation in Pridnestrovie". This day, 50 people received it.

State jubilee awards were given to peacekeepers by President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Prime Minister Alexander Martynov and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva. The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament addressed the awardees, expressed her great gratitude for the preservation of peace in our land.

The current and former deputies of the Supreme Council - Oleg Belyakov, Galina Antyufeeva, Vladimir Rilyakov, Vladimir Bodnar and Sergey Khankevich were among the jubilee medals awarded.
