Personal presence of a citizen is necessary to obtain a foreign passport of the Russian Federation. People come to Tiraspol from all corners of Pridnestrovie to receive the document - this is the order. There are times when it's impossible to make a trip. For example, disabled, bedridden are in a difficult situation.

Responding to the requests of such citizens, the leadership of the parliament, deputies of the Supreme Council assisted in obtaining passports by Pridnestrovian Russians with limited opportunities in their place of residence. Having determined that the life circumstances are really difficult, a joint decision was made - to organize the delivery of foreign passports to incompetent recipients residing in the northern regions of the republic. Five residents of Rybnitsa and Kamenka received documents without leaving home.

The parliamentarian said that a few years ago the Russian community was acting in the city, whose representatives helped the residents of Rybnitsa to issue the documents necessary for obtaining the passport, advised the citizens on issues related to Russian citizenship. Under the former leadership of the republic, the representation of the Russian community in the city was closed. Residents of the north of the republic have to travel several times to the capital to go through the entire procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship and a passport. Of course, this takes time, money, and it's problematic for the same disabled people. Vadim Kravchuk expressed the hope that in the future the work of the Russian community in Rybnitsa could be resumed.

Everyone who has received a passport has been a citizen of Russia for several years. It was just a replacement document after the expiry. Someone needs a Russian passport for a pension; someone hopes to stay with children living in Russia. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War are among the recipients of passports. Being a citizen of Russia for them is not just a necessity, but an inalienable need to be aware of ourselves as part of the great Motherland.

The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament recalled other components of Russia's comprehensive assistance to Pridnestrovians. This applies to pension provision, the implementation of various humanitarian projects, the training of graduates in Russian universities. Today, the President, together with the Government and the Supreme Council, continues to address the problems of voters. These are issues of medical insurance, obtaining citizenship of the Russian Federation for Pridnestrovians, born after 1992, the use of maternity capital on the territory of the republic.
