On the eve of the plenary session

Members of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction traditionally on the eve of the plenary session discussed the most important issues presented today to the consideration of the deputy corps. There are more than 40 different legislations regulating issues of social sphere, economy, functioning of local authorities and local self-government on the agenda of the current plan session. Legislators also will have to hear and discuss prepared by Vyacheslav Kosinsky report of the Ombudsman for Human Rights in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On the state of observance and protection of human rights and freedoms of the person and citizen of PMR by state authorities and administration, local self-government bodies, citizens' associations, organizations". The list of issues includes - a package of anti-corruption legislations, amendments to the law on the prosecutor's office, submitted for consideration in the second reading.

Members of the faction supported the initiative of Oleg Bayev and Vadim Krasnoselsky, who propose to establish privileges and preferences for parents whose minor children died as a result of the fighting in 1992. Legislators also approved the initiative of their colleague Oleg Vasilaty. The author proposes to introduce a number of amendments and addendum to the law "On Local Government, Local Government and State Administration" with the aim of determining the status of the heads of the village (village) administration. The deputy proposes to define the notions of representative body of state power, the authority of the village administration, the basis for ensuring their activities.
