The first meeting during the autumn session brought together members of the Obnovlenie parliamentary faction. It was chaired by the leader of the faction Peter Pasat.
The first issue included to the agenda was a draft document on the priority tasks of the parliamentary faction during the 8th session of the sixth convocation of the Supreme Council. It is based on legislative support for solving the key tasks that President Vadim Krasnoselsky outlined in his message to state authorities this summer. This is, first of all, ensuring the balance of the republican budget, fully fulfilling the state’s social obligations to citizens, as well as implementing state programs. All this can be implemented within the framework of the adoption of the law "On the republican budget 2020", as well as the Tax Code.
Members of the faction in the next four months intend to give priority attention to explanatory work during meetings with voters, as well as cooperation with the media.
The faction members devoted a lot of time to discussing implementation of the state target program for the execution of voters' orders. In their opinion, interdepartmental inconsistency in the decisions and actions of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Finance, and local government administrations impedes effective work. It is clear that more attention is paid to more voluminous and financially intensive investment program. Members of the faction are convinced that execution program of voters also concerns improving the quality of life of Pridnestrovians, and directly in the places of their residence, where it is extremely important for all government bodies to create comfortable and safe environment.
Members of the faction decided to summarize information on the state of implementation of the state program for the execution of voters' orders and send it to the government. It is possible that this issue will be discussed during one of the meetings of the faction with the invitation of senior officials from the executive authorities.
Deputies at the end of the meeting of the parliamentary faction discussed the situation and the consequences of the closure by Moldovan banks of the currency accounts of a number of our large enterprises engaged in export-import operations, as well as possible measures to solve this problem.
