Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the Head of the Parliamentary Commission on Foreign Policy and International Relations Galina Antyufeeva commented on the meeting with the OSCE delegation headed by the new OSCE Chairman-in-Office Bujar Osmani. The Pridnestrovian delegation was headed by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

The Vice Speaker of the Parliament noted that the meeting went well, the parties talked a lot about the problems faced by Pridnestrovians. This is the activation of pressure from Moldova, which intensified with the closure of the Pridnestrovian-Ukrainian border, banking and financial blockade, transport and logistics, foreign economic, administrative and bureaucratic restrictions that infringe on the interests, rights and freedoms of citizens of Pridnestrovie and business entities of the republic, militarization of Moldova, attempts to discredit the current peacekeeping format and the desire to replace it, new amendments to the Criminal Code of Moldova. All these issues can and should be resolved at the negotiating table, Galina Antyufeeva considers.

The Head of the parliamentary commission on foreign policy and international relations expressed hope that the meeting held today in Bendery would be productive.
