Voter Orders Fund gives new life to village clubs

Work was carried out in the houses of culture of some villages of the Dubossary district under the program of the Foundation for the Execution of Voter Orders last year. There was heating, lighting, window replacement, purchase of equipment. Deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency number 10 "Northern" Oleg Bayev carried out the instructions of the voters.

The parliamentarian represents the interests of Dubossary residents of the Lunga microdistrict and 27 villages of the district. The issue of supporting rural clubs remains a problem. The local budget does not always have funds for these purposes. The Foundation for the Execution of the Voter Orders allows gradually reviving the houses of culture. For example, Oleg Bayev helped the club in the village of Afanasievka under the deputy program last year. New windows and doors were installed in three rooms, fan heaters were installed and electrical wiring was replaced. The two-storey building has not been heated since 1989, it needs repairs, and this requires large financial investments. The management of the club and the residents of Afanasyevka are grateful for the opportunity to heat the premises.

The club is a leisure center for two villages – Afanasyevka and Kalinovka. Villagers meet for holidays, come to concerts, play table tennis. 16 children are engaged in vocal and dance clubs. The club has a museum corner that tells about the culture of the village. All available paraphernalia was brought by local residents – a samovar, a colorful carpet, dishes. The villagers want the building to be preserved, and the traditions and history of the village to be passed on to the next generations.

Deputy Oleg Bayev purchased sound equipment for the House of Culture at the expense of the Fund for the Execution of Orders in Lunga microdistrict of Dubossary last year. The porch was repaired according to the deputy program, and in the village of Rogi, indoor and outdoor lighting was improved in the club of the village of Dubovo.

Costumes are sewn for folk groups of the House of Culture in the needlework studio. There is also a museum corner where the traditions and culture of the Moldovan village are preserved. It was possible to overhaul the club in Rogi back in 2009. The building is again in need of repair after 10 years.

Constituency number 10 "Northern" includes dozens of socially significant objects: houses of culture, kindergartens, schools, feldsher-obstetric stations and rural outpatient clinics in the Dubossary district. The deputy tries to help each of them, attracting not only money from the Fund for the Execution of Voter Orders, but also sponsorship and charitable assistance.
