The fixed agricultural tax is not terminated

Supported by the Parliament amendments to the law "On the fixed agricultural tax" provide the opportunity to pay this tax to all agricultural producers, regardless of whether the system of taxation founded Agriculture Organization applied before 1 January 2015. Deputies of the profile committee on agriculture proposed the initiative. An alternative law-in-draft was submitted to the government. The document was adopted by the decision of the parties as a basis for parliamentary. The second reading will take into account the comments of the executive authority. The entry into force of the law is scheduled from July 1 this year.

Reference. Special tax treatment in the form of the tax payment acted for agricultural producers of the Republic from 1 January 2004. It combined the payment of several taxes: single social, land and tax on housing and objects of social and cultural sphere. Simplified system operated before 1 January 2015. Parliamentarians, noting effectiveness of the tax in the form of growth of agricultural production, supported its prolongation. The relevant law on the extension of the simplified system of taxation in the 2015-2019 was adopted by the Supreme Council in October 2014. The President did not sign the law. After overcoming the veto by parliamentarians the law signing again was not followed, and in April 2016 it was signed and published.
