29.09.2016

At the beginning of the session of the Supreme Council Chairman Vadim Krasnoselsky handed chairman assembly meeting, the first President of PMR Igor Smirnov special badge number 001 "For the contribution to the parliamentary system".Deputies then proceeded to discuss the items on the agenda. The main theme of almost every plenary session during the past month becomes deputy inquiry of Sergei Khankevich for grounds on which to freedom particularly dangerous criminals. Today, the people's deputy made a report for creators of the Republic - members of the consultative assembly of the first deputies. He said, there are cases of pardon criminals over the past 5 years more than in the entire history of existence of Pridnestrovie.

After reviewing the lists of pardoned for 5 years, Sergei Khankevich, former employee of the law enforcement agencies, emphasized 10 people, including those convicted of selling drugs, organizing contract killings, armed robberies and other grave crimes.

The result of the discussion of this issue was the resolution, in which the creators of the republic condemned the President's actions, particularly paying attention to the moral and ethical aspect of the issue. It was offered to send this information to the media.

Another controversial decision of the President has caused bewilderment of people's deputies, both existing and their senior colleagues. Awards were given to the officials, through whose fault pensioners and state employees receive less wages and pensions in 2015, and this year all Pridnestrovians were victims of a currency crisis. Among the order bearers - those involved in the creation of "gray" schemes, which resulted in huge sums were withdrawn from the country.

Anticipating the negative reaction, the decree on awarding the President was issued in "off the record" mode. The first Pridnestrovian Deputies prepared a draft statement, which the Supreme Council asked to take measures to facilitate the removal of secrecy from this list of persons. As noted by the deputy chairman of the consultative meeting Anna Volkova, the country must know its "heroes".

The first Pridnestrovian deputies meet twice a month, acting deputies take part in the meetings. They discuss the most topical issues of concern to the public.
