Power generators for social facilities of the country

7.5 million rubles for the power generators purchase. Parliamentarians adopted amendments to the law on the republican budget for this year. The legislative initiative in the regime of legislative necessity was received from the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed to take measures to provide socially significant facilities of the country with electric generators. The reserves formed in the entrepreneurship development fund will be used for the purchase of power generators. It was noted in the legislative initiative that the equipment is intended for social facilities and the healthcare system to ensure that these institutions have an autonomous source of electricity in case of possible outages. The deputies agreed with the President's opinion.

Within the framework of the same law-in-draft on amendments to the 2022 state budget, the deputies adopted in the course of the plenary session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic amendments that will give the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic the authority to manage the reserves of target budget funds in case of shortfalls and shortages in the republican budget for the payment of salaries, pensions and benefits. The state considers the fulfillment of its obligations under socially protected articles to be its priority.

The parliamentarian added that the state administration bodies are jointly reviewing all expenditure items of the republican budget. Viktor Guzun considers that the task of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is to formulate as clearly as possible which articles the state will not finance, and which ones it will continue to finance in order to fulfill social obligations to public sector employees and pensioners in the republic, first of all.
