The First Vice-President of the All-Russian Public Organization for Small and Medium-Sized Business Pavel Sigal is among the guests of honor of the Pridnestrovie International Economic Forum. The work of the second day of the forum began with his speech. He conducted an express analysis of the state of Pridnestrovian economy based on the results of the first day of the Pridnestrovian International Economic Forum-2017, held meetings and participated in panel discussions.
Pavel Sigal immediately began the speech before the deputies of the Supreme Council, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, entrepreneurs with conclusions. The Russian economist had four o them. Firstly, Pridnestrovie needs non-standard approaches in carrying out economic reforms when setting ambitious goals. Secondly, there is little time left for their implementation. Third, in order to carry out reforms, the political leadership of the republic needs a strong political will of leadership and the unity of understanding of the tasks the republic is facing. Fourth, it is necessary to use the advantages that Pridnestrovie has, including a compact territory.
Secondly, the Russian entrepreneur identified the audience the tasks that should be solved: the creation of a balanced budget; Modernization of banking and financial systems; Reformatting the tax system; Simplification of the regime of registration (re-registration) and liquidation of enterprises; Coordination of normative acts with business representatives; Interaction with controlling structures.
The representative considers import substitution; reforming the system of public procurement and their reorientation to small and medium-sized businesses; privatization, reduction of the state's share in the economy; information support for ongoing reforms as drivers of economic growth for the republic.
Thanking the Russian guest for the "capacious, in fact" speech, Prime Minister Alexander Martynov drew attention to two very important points, in his opinion: the need to optimize public spending and the interaction of business and government.
The work of Pridnestrovian international economic forum continued with a discussion within the framework of the panel session "Basic methods and tools for limiting the shadow economy". Chairman of the Committee of the Supreme Council for Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Alexander Korshunov and head of the Parliamentary Committee for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry Viktor Guzun participated in it.
