An exposition dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War is being held in the exhibition hall of the Catherine Park. The exhibition presents exhibits from the funds of the Tiraspol United Museum. Here you can see a Mosin rifle of the 1891 model, an anti-tank rifle of the Degtyarev system and a submachine gun of the Shpagin system of 1941, a general's belt of the 1940 model, which belonged to the commander of the 57th rifle corps, Lieutenant General F.A. Ostashenko, other exhibits and photographs. Information has been collected for visitors about the natives of Pridnestrovie, who were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War.
A separate location is an exhibition of books on military topics called "Let us bow to those great years". The selection was prepared by the Central City Library.
In addition, the artwork was prepared by the students of the school named after Foinitsky and the school named after Rachmaninov. Samples of tanks and military uniforms are also on display. The exhibition will run until the end of May.
