Radio 1 Annual Report: Key Achievements and Plans

Parliamentarians reviewed the report of the editor-in-chief of Radio 1 Natalya Zhelobayeva on the results of the work of the state radio station last year.

The programs “Evening Watch”, “Fresh on the First”, “In the Spotlight” and others regularly covered important political and socio-economic news in the republic and abroad during the reporting period. The Moldovan and Ukrainian editorial staff worked actively, thanks to which all key news was published in all three official languages.

One of the important directions in the work of Radio 1 is the popularization of the history of Pridnestrovie, Pridnestrovian identity, values ​​and traditions. Significant historical events are celebrated in various formats in other programs in addition to news coverage. For example, “Evening Watch” published thematic cycles “History of the 55th Podolsk Infantry Regiment”, “Trace in History”, “Pridnestrovie. The Path to Orthodoxy" and many others during the year.

The anniversaries of Hero of the USSR Vladimir Bochkovsky and Hero of Socialist Labor Valentina Solovyova were widely covered. Large thematic marathons were dedicated to significant and historical dates – Republic Day on September 2, Victory Day on May 9, Bendery Tragedy Day on June 19, Day of the Liberation of Tiraspol from the Nazi invaders on April 12 and others.

The report paid much attention to information support for events within the framework of the Year of the Agro-Industrial Complex, Rural Areas and Rural Tourism of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Special attention will be paid to covering events within the framework of the Year of Family and Family Values in 2024, noted Natalya Zhelobayeva. New sections and projects are planned for release on the role of the family in a person’s life and family relationships.

Deputies of the Supreme Council approved the report of the editor-in-chief of Radio 1 on the results of the work of the state radio station last year, adopting a corresponding resolution.
