Doors for tourists open

Over the years, the tourism industry has been underestimated. The state did not invest in the industry substantial funds. Today, it needs special attention, and it needs to be developed systematically. The deputies and developers of the state target program “Support and development of tourism in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2019-2026” are sure of this. To create a modern competitive tourism industry in the republic is the main goal of the program.

Emphasis will be placed on the development of long-term tourism. It is planned to hold a meeting of tourists and investment forum. In addition, the program secured the publication of a guidebook on Pridnestrovie, the promotion of tourist product on the Internet, the development of the site. The total amount of funding will be about 17 million rubles. Gastronomic, ecological, wine, rural, sports and other types of tourism will be developed. Deputies are sure: we have potential.

Deputies spoke about the training of Pridnestrovian guides. Today the field needs qualified personnel.

As the head of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture, Mikhail Burla emphasized, over the professional training of personnel for the tourism industry are working at PSU. This year, the university is preparing the first graduation of masters in the direction of "tourism".

The state target program was adopted by the parliament in the first reading.
