The Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Local Authorities, Local Government and Housing Oleg Vasilaty and deputy of the Tiraspol City Council Igor Krizhanovsky participated in the round table dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Pridnestrovian Constitution. They were talking with pupils about the basic law of the country. Interlocutors shared information about the history of formation and development of the most important state document on the role of the Constitution in statehood, the rights and duties of citizen.

Oleg Vasilaty reminded the young people that acting today in Pridnestrovie the Constitution - is not the first. The government at the beginning of the historical path based on the September 2, 1991 the constitutional norms, similar to the Soviet. The Republic in the document proclaimed a sovereign and independent. The articles of the Constitution adopted by the people of Pridnestrovie December 24, 1995 are now the basis of the existing rules. This date was fixed in the calendar as the Day of the Constitution of PMR.

In addition to the features of the state system of Pridnestrovie, the roundtable participants spoke about the details of the formation of the legislative base. With regard to the rights and duties prescribed by the Constitution, the members of both generations agreed that their knowledge – is a mandatory component of personal development and considerable support in resolving many conflicts. This kind of awareness cited the Situation with CSE and MTPL as illustrative examples. Both topics are actively discussed in society and in parliament. This is the case when you need a clear legal regulation.

According to the initiative of the youth the conversation flowed smoothly into the mainstream of the juvenile justice system. The rights and duties of children - is a very delicate matter, says Oleg Vasilaty.

The second part of the meeting of two generations in the constitutional sphere has become a thematic quiz. The youth showed a high level of enlightenment and active citizenship.
