Dubossary Children's Art School Celebrated the 60th Anniversary

Dubossary Children's Art School celebrated its 60th anniversary. The solemn event in honor of the anniversary brought together teachers, students, and graduates of the school of different years in the Dubossary Art Gallery.

The walls of the art gallery were decorated with creative works of students and teachers of the school. The director of the Dubossary Art School Igor Nirsha opening the event congratulated his colleagues, veteran teachers, and students on the anniversary, noting that during the existence of the school, 1636 students have graduated from it. Many graduates became worthy followers of their teachers in the development of fine arts, 180 became professional artists who achieved fame in the world of fine arts.

The anniversaries were congratulated by the head of the state administration of the Dubossary district and the city of Dubossary Ruslan Chaban, Georgy Lisovsky - archpriest, rector of the Cathedral of All Saints, heads of art schools of Tiraspol and Grigoriopol, representatives of the local branch of the "Renewal".

The deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Boris German congratulated the school with warm words. He highly appreciated the work of the teachers and students of the school, noting that the paintings depicting recognizable places of the Dubossary district evoke special feelings.

The parliamentarian wished the school, each teacher and student creative development, success and achievements. The deputy presented the school as a gift with a certificate for the installation of street benches in the school yard for students and teachers to rest. Dubossary Children's Art School was founded in 1964. Many graduates continued their education in art-oriented educational institutions in the PMR, Moldova, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, the Czech Republic, and the USA. 210 students study at the school, 8 teachers work there, 7 of whom are graduates of the school, three of whom are members of the MARKIS (International Association of Cultural and Art Workers).
