By-elections in the constituency of Parkany

Early voting on the by-election of a deputy of the PMR Supreme Council in the constituency, which includes the villages of Parkany and Blizhny Khutor, started on March 26. The election day is already this Sunday, March 31st.

It will be possible to vote ahead of schedule at the polling station opened in the state administration of the village of Parkany from today until Thursday inclusive, but on Friday and Saturday – at their sites. The Central Election Commission reminds, those voters who will work or stay outside the republic on March 31 can vote ahead of schedule. It is enough to vote early to come to the polling station, take your passport with you and write an application.

Parkany and Blizhny Khutor, where you can vote this week, belong to the electoral district No. 24 "Parkany". These villages since December have not had a representative in the legislature. The interests of their residents were defended by Ivan Nedelkov previously, who passed away on December 13, 2023. The election campaign for additional elections to the Supreme Council of the PMR started on January 31. The main voting day is March 31. Ten polling stations will be opened for residents of Parkany and Blizhny Khutor. Their addresses have remained the same.

The CEC added, now only two surnames are indicated in the already printed ballots as a result (listed in alphabetical order): Svetlana Kanskaya, and Vladimir Timofeev. The ballots are already at the polling stations.

More than 13.5 thousand voters can participate in the by-elections of the deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR in the constituency No. 24 "Parkany". In the "Find your polling station" section, just enter your address. The site will tell you not only the number of the site, but also pave the shortest path to it then.

All 10 polling stations in Parkany and Blizhny Khutor will be open on March 31 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The counting of votes will begin immediately after the polls close. The name of the elected deputy, who will represent the interests of residents in the Parkany electoral district in the Supreme Council, will be announced by the Central Election Commission at the beginning of next week.
