Additional funds for social and economic programs

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov began the plenary session by congratulating the employees of the internal affairs agencies on their professional holiday and on the 30th anniversary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The main attention was paid to the law-in-draft with amendments and additions to the republican budget of the current year at the plenary session and at several sessions of the profile committee today. The Supreme Council in the second reading considered the President's proposals to increase the expenditures of the main financial document today. An additional 5 million rubles will be allocated to replace window blocks in apartment buildings. More budget money will be spent on repairing the soft roofs of healthcare facilities.

Another social program for which additional resources have been allocated is the support of large families. The state has committed itself to purchasing educational supplies for children from such families. In order to complete this program in full in 2021, an additional 700 thousand rubles have been allocated from the republican budget.

One of the important tasks facing our state is to ensure food security. An additional 2 million rubles will be allocated from the budget for subsidies to agricultural enterprises and peasant farms that are engaged in milk production. This state program, which has been implemented for several years, is in great demand among milk producers.

Also, support will be given to enterprises and organizations that work in the real sector of the economy. A subsidy program is being implemented in Pridnestrovie, according to which part of the interest rate on the loan is paid by the borrower himself, and most of the interest rate is paid by the state. An additional 2 million 300 thousand rubles have been allocated for these purposes.

The deputy corps supported the initiatives of the PMR President to allocate additional budget funds for the implementation of social and economic programs and adopted amendments to the law "On the republican budget for 2021" in the final reading.
