The law-in-draft on increasing government spending of the Road Fund and the Capital Investment Fund will be considered by parliamentarians at tomorrow's plenary session in the second reading. The issue was included in the agenda by the Presidium of the Supreme Council. The Parliament and the Government will approve by amendments the objects and amounts of financing of the two funds.
The deputies will additionally consider tomorrow another initiative with amendments to the law on the republican budget for 2023 in addition to the main agenda, which exceeds 30 issues. The law-in-draft was introduced by the Chairman of the Supreme Council on the initiative of the Youth Parliament. The goal is to specify the norms for providing young families with state subsidies for the purchase of housing this year.
The next plenary meeting is scheduled for May 31. Parliamentarians will consider legislations prepared for discussion by relevant committees: on social policy and health care and on regional policy issues. They are aimed in particular at eliminating some legal gaps in the legislation. The conditions for crediting the length of service of periods of study are also specified. One of the legislations concerns the payment of compensation to disabled people for the purchase of an eye process. Two more legislations were introduced as part of the revision of the benefits and guarantees provided for by the law "On social protection of war veterans", which have lost their relevance, are not provided to war veterans or are provided on an equal basis with all Pridnestrovians.
