The agenda of the plenary session was amended

The issue on interpretation of certain provisions of laws "On the Central Bank of PMR" and "On Currency Regulation and Currency Control" was submitted for deputies consideration according to the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Council. Previously the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance considered it. Earlier the Deputy Gregory Dyachenko initiated the discussion, sending deputy inquiry for the interpretation of certain provisions of these laws that restrict the size of commission levied by the central bank in conducting foreign exchange auctions of foreign currency purchase and sale.

As you know, the board PRB decided to levy a 10% commission when buying foreign currency. According to the Supreme Council deputies, in fact, it is a hidden devaluation against the holding of which they have repeatedly expressed.

The opinion of the relevant committee was supported at today's meeting of the Presidium of the legislative body. Legislators suppose that the issue is of current importance, concerns every Pridnestrovians, and therefore requires discussion and appropriate action.
