The agenda for the next plenary meeting has been updated

Regular meeting of the Presidium of the PMR Supreme Council was held. The parliamentarians decided on the date of the next plenary session and supplemented the agenda of the next plenary session, which will be held tomorrow, on the 28th of June.

The deputies will consider and adopt this week a draft resolution of the Supreme Council "On hearing the report of the Government of the PMR on the results of its activities for 2022". The Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg delivered a report to parliamentarians last week, he answered questions that interested legislators.

The deputies will consider initiatives prepared for adoption in the first and second readings by the Committees on Economic Policy, Legislation, Social Policy, and Education. So, parliamentarians plan to adopt amendments and additions to the laws “On Education”, “On State Support for Young Families in Acquisition of Housing”, “On Electronic Document and Electronic Signature”, “On Higher and postgraduate vocational education” and amendments to the Penitentiary and Labor Codes and the Code of Administrative Offenses in the second final reading.

Parliamentarians will consider this Wednesday in the first reading a number of legislations protecting the rights and health of citizens. For example, the relevant Committee on Social Policy and Health will present a legislative initiative of the Government, which provides for the introduction of a ban on smoking at public transport stops. It is planned in the mode of legislative necessity to adopt additions to the law on the republican budget for this year in two readings at once. The President proposes to grant the right to attract legal entities to perform road works under subcontracts for an amount not exceeding 50% of the total cost of road works provided for in the general contract. The current wording of the law sets a limit of 20% of the total amount of construction and installation works provided for in the general contract. Another legislative initiative of the President concerns the improvement of the places of accommodation for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the PMR involved in the protection of public order at posts organized in connection with the introduction of a yellow level of terrorist danger in the republic. Funds for these purposes, about 500 thousand rubles, are planned to be allocated within the framework of the Capital Investment Fund, due to savings on other objects of the cost estimate of the Capital Investment Fund for 2023.

As for the next plenary session, it will take place next week, on the 5th of July at the suggestion of speaker Alexander Korshunov. Among other things the parliamentarians will consider the amendments to the laws “On the status of people's deputies of local Councils of people's deputies”, to the Code of Administrative Offenses and other legislative initiatives.
