Supplements for technical workers of the hemodialysis department

Amendments to the Labor Code establishing additional payments for duty at home for the engineering and technical personnel of the hemodialysis department were adopted in the final reading. These are the specialists who supply water, control the consumption of salts and disinfectants for hemodialysis and perform other work.

The initiative was developed by the deputies of the Committee on Social Policy on the basis of appeal from the Republican Hospital for the Invalids of the Great Patriotic War. Medical and technical workers who work as needed and on weekends are needed for the hemodialysis procedure. Only doctors and nursing staff can be on duty at home in the current legislation, that is, wait for a call to work.

According to the adopted changes, the engineering and technical specialists of the hemodialysis department, along with medical workers, will receive for duty at home as for ½ hour of working time. Additional pay for work on weekends for technical personnel can reach 1300 rubles per month.

The adopted amendments were sent for signature to the PMR President.
