The House of Creativity and Color

Children's Art School named after Foynitsky celebrated the 60^th anniversary. Veterans of work, graduates of the school, parliamentarians Oleg Vasilaty and Vadim Levitsky, Head of the civil service for culture and historical heritage Maria Kirmyz, deputies of the local Council of People’s Deputies, representatives of the state administration came with congratulations.

The building, where the school is now located, was commissioned in 2003. Before that, it changed addresses seven times. The new building was built with the assistance of the state administration according to an individual project of the architect Vasily Tyashko. There are all conditions for teaching children. Workshops of painting, sculpture, and history of fine art are open to students.

The director of the children's art school in a festive atmosphere was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Culture. Diplomas and letters of appreciation from the President, the Supreme Council, the civil service for culture and historical heritage were awarded.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the art school, the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov sent a welcoming address. The Parliament Speaker addressing the teachers, noted their contribution to the upbringing of a harmonious personality.  

Today, the institution has 740 students. 30 teachers, 19 of them  are graduates of the art school, reveal their talents. Teachers, based on the classical school of realism, are always in the creative search for new ways of learning.

Director of the Children's Art School Maria Marian conducted for guests of the holiday a tour of the exhibition halls of the institution. Certificates for the purchase of necessary equipment became a gift for the jubilee school from deputies of the Supreme Council and state administration.
