The long-awaited sports facility

The Dolphin swimming pool was opened in a festive atmosphere in the city of Bendery. The event was attended by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeyeva, deputies, representatives of the Government, the leadership of Bendery, representatives of public organizations, citizens and guests of Bendery.

The President before congratulations noted that 2020 was declared the Year of Health in the Republic. Health is not only medical facilities, it is sport, it is healthy lifestyle, it is ecology, proper nutrition, self-organization.

Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed confidence that the city swimming pool will become one of the sports centers in Bendery. The President said that in agreement with the Head of state administration, people who need medical sports will visit the pool one day a week. These are disabled people and students of special schools. Pupils of the cadet corps will regularly go to the pool.

The Head of state administration Roman Ivanchenko noted that without exaggeration, this is the most anticipated object in Bendery that has appeared in recent years. Almost 18 years it stood motionless. This pool has a glorious history. Thousands of Bendery residents learned to swim here. In fact, the pool was rebuilt.

The President expressed confidence that this pool will become another Bendery sports ground, where citizens of different ages will be able to engage in physical education and sports in comfortable conditions.

At the opening ceremony of the city swimming pool, the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky presented a symbolic aqua key to the first visitors of the Dolphin pool, young residents of Bendery.
