Regular meeting of the Supreme Council Commission on Foreign Policy and International Relations was held. The deputies held a dialogue with Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev. At the center of the joint discussion are relations with Russia, Ukraine, the course of the negotiation process in the 5 + 2 format.

Work on the Russian direction intensified after the opening of the official representative office of Pridnestrovie in Moscow in January of this year. Monthly there are various kinds of round tables on Pridnestrovian topics. Their participants are prominent Russian lawyers, lawyers, economists, political scientists, historians. Among the latest events organized at the representation site, there is a round table on the international legal assessment of the Moldovan armed aggression against the people of Pridnestrovie in 1990-1992. Following its results, recommendations were made for the Pridnestrovian side.
Much attention during the meeting of the parliamentary foreign policy commission was paid to the visits to Pridnestrovie by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak.
In turn, the head of the foreign ministry informed the people's representatives about the issues discussed by the PMR leadership with Dmitry Kozak.
The pause in the negotiation process was delayed. According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the last time political representatives of Pridnestrovie and Moldova met on October 18 last year. During this time, many unresolved issues of a social and humanitarian nature have accumulated, in particular, the termination of politically motivated criminal cases brought on by Pridnestrovians by law enforcement agencies of neighboring Moldova.
